Promoting arts and crafts in the spirit of our living heritage
Linking local cultural heritage through arts and crafts to build a sustainable platform for tomorrow’s world. Providing space and facilities for people to do their own projects, work with others and enjoy hands on sessions.
The Aim: to establish an Arts and Crafts studio(s) focusing on traditional local crafts including painting, ceramics, leatherwork, fabrics and printing. The studios will have open access on some days and learning sessions on others.
Burgess Hill Shed
Promoting wellbeing through shared interests and hands-on craft activities in a safe, friendly workshop
An existing organisation that helps men and women come together to share interests and skills, and be creative through their own projects and worthwhile community projects.
The Aim: to maintain our existing workshop at Burnside and provide additional complementary facilities, resources and opportunities in the Town centre. The workshop will have open access on some days and learning sessions on others.

Inspiring our children and the makers of tomorrow through hands on Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) experiences
Linking youth and experience: promoting STEM to younger people in our community through projects facilitated by experienced practitioners.
Providing space and resources for schools in our community to help pupils develop hands on experience and problem solving skills in an inspirational environment.
The Aim: to create a STEM centre accessible to schools during term time, and to children and parents after school and during vacations.
Bin it or fix it? Repairing broken and faulty things for a new lease of life.
Regular community events bringing together experts and members of the community to repair things, reuse and avoid waste.
